Richard Durand "Weep"
RICHARD DURAND MEETS SKUNK ANANSIE

On-the-ball sample-heads and paid-up trainspotters will immediately recognize the 90’s rock anthem behind Richard’s new single. Sampling the full vocals of Skunk Anansie’s 1997 hit ‘Brazen’, he’s laid the trailblazing band’s scorched vocals over a fully-paid-up club slayer! Taking ‘Brazen’s original subtitle, ‘Weep’, the track will be released across mainland Europe by Richard’s own Terminal 4 imprint on July 21st, in the US by Perfecto and in the UK by Maelstrom/ NewState.

Here, in summer 2008, Durand is the fastest rising star in the EDM cosmos. Aside from his own successful productions, smashed by many DJs, Richard has produced hugely-received remixes of the Tiësto’s hits ‘Break My Fall’, ‘Lethal Industry’ and ‘Flight 643’. He has also just completed a remix for the world’s No.1 DJ Armin van Buuren’s latest record “In and out of Love”. After co-presenting Judge Jules’ R1 show in April, last Saturday (14th of June 2008) Richard stepped behind the hallowed decks of Radio 1, for his first Essential Mix.

The release of ‘Weep’ also marks the return of the legendary Perfecto label, which is being returned to full active release duty in summer 2008. ‘Weep’s road to release indeed started when Oakey pounced on a CD copy that Richard had just spun at a gig in the early part of the year. Now on the receiving end of a huge raft of support, Weep’ has been hammered by DJs such as Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Judge Jules and Sander van Doorn.

For the summer of 2008 Richard has accepted a new residency at Eden in Ibiza where he will be performing a total of 7 dates for Judge Jules’ Judgement Sunday nights.
More information about dates can be found on his website.

Niels de Vries " Regulator "

Dutch legend Niels De Vries delivers the latest club anthem for Terminal-4 and what a track it is. Clocking in at just under six minutes, the track twists and turns in a style Niels has become reknowned for. A relentless, driving groove with a catchy, infectious Mason-Esque melody is whats with this one and it certainly is something that will be able to be fitted in your CD wallets for sure! Only the one mix but with a track as strong as this I am sure you will all be hammering it!
